Young's Environmental is seeking highly-motivated CDL A or B Drivers WITH a tanker endorsement to join our Hydro-Excavation team in Flint, Michigan!

Here's an idea of what you can expect to do -

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, procedures, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Drive and operate Young's non-evasive hydro-excavation truck and excavate using high water pressure and vacuum systems
  • Potholing, daylighting, locating and trenching under direction of customer
  • Maintain organized and clean job site throughout the project
  • Work in potentially elevated noise levels where you must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty
  • Be able to safely complete tasks associated with a labor-intensive position including working outside in all types of weather conditions and standing, kneeling or bending for long periods of time
  • Performing pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Follow directions given both orally and in writing
  • Providing safe, effective, and professional service to our clients
  • Assist in various Emergency Response projects
  • Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis, including daily reports, timesheets, and other administrative forms

Here is what we need from you -

  • Negative drug and alcohol test INCLUDING marijuana (pre-employment, random, etc.) per federal regulations
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License A or B with tanker endorsement and satisfactory results of a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Satisfactory results of a background check (and your authorization to conduct a routine background check) - offenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to drive a 13-speed manual transmission
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid medical card
  • Ability to handle a physical workload
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn!
