Our market is mostly high-end custom residential interior and exterior work, however it is not limited to just that! We have a rather significant commercial footprint in the Sarasota and Manatee areas ranging from storefront interiors/exteriors, perimeter walls, clubhouse and amenity buildings, hotel buildings and so much more!

Essential Functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• obtaining work orders for the day, taking the time to ensure clear understanding of the job requirements. Organizing and setting a plan of action to complete the assigned tasks, including verifying the job location and confirming that the required equipment is ready and in working condition.
• Following all communication procedures established by Young Painting & Decor
• Ensuring all surfaces are properly prepared prior to painting, inspecting the job site throughout the day and assuring that the job is completed as per specifications and standards of Young Painting & Decor.
• Following safety guidelines, working safely, utilizing proper protective equipment and complying with OSHA regulations.
• Adhering to break schedules and keeping accurate time records.
• completing final punch lists in accordance with company policy, obtaining necessary approvals and assuring proper completion of jobs.
• completing daily reports and assuring all required information has been logged for the day

Base pay, employer matched 401K, paid vacations and select holidays.

• Base Pay - our employees are paid based on experience and evaluated frequently to ensure that compensation is adjusted with personal employee growth! NOTE: Pay range listed in the ad is starting pay only.
• 401K plan is available to eligible employees with an up to 3% Employer Match contribution.
• Our employees are eligible for paid vacation after 1 year of service!
• Throughout the year we offer select paid holidays to our hard working team members to ensure they spend time with their family and loved ones.

We do have some critical requirements:

• you must be authorized to work in the US (form I9 will be required)
• must posses transportation (not just to the shop in the morning, but also to move from job to job if necessary during the day).
• 10 years of hands on painting experience

We are NOT looking for subcontractors. This is a position for FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT with regular hours. We provide a structured work environment which allows us to take care of our employees in the best possible way. Pay is processed through a payroll company weekly and all employees are covered with workers comp. Our work schedule is filled.
