Our Department of Mental Health Services is committed to filling the critical need to provide quality, equitable mental health, behavioral health and social support services for individuals of all ages.
We are seeking a Mental Health Program Director who seeks to support the growth of our mental health service platform to better meet community needs, bridging a gap to mental wellness. The Mental Health Program Director will demonstrate cause-driven leadership and alignment with our mission to serve all people regardless of age, religion, sex, or financial means, desire to create a safe space for all participants to develop a healthy mind, body, and spirit and desire to be a part of providing life-changing services to all health seekers who desire to participate.
Under the supervision of the Director of Mental Health Services, the Mental Health Program Director will be responsible for the management and implementation of the Departments programming for Children and Families including our Grandparent Support Group, Bridges to Employment Youth Program for Pregnant & Parenting Teens and Intensive In-Community Counseling.

Requirements
Experience:

• Minimum 3 years prior experience
• Knowledge of Children System of Care and/or Federal/State Funded Programming a plus
• Previous leadership experience supervising individuals/team/programs/projects.

Education/Certifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Related Field.
• Active, unrestricted NJ Clinical license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW or LPC).
• ACS required or eligible for and willing to obtain within 1st 6 months

Skills:

• Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
• Must demonstrate aptitude and passion to expand mental and behavioral health services to diverse populations with cultural competency.
• Excellent Leadership and Management Skills.
• Skills in planning, organizing, systematizing, implementing are essential.
• Must be reliable, punctual.

Salary Description

$70,000/annually
