This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic urban, growing organization just 5 miles west of New York City in the water front city of Perth Amboy. The Raritan Bay Area YMCA has served the ever-evolving needs of our community since 1912. We enthusiastically serve over 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area in our community building initiatives through Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility.
Under the supervision of the Director of Mental Health Services, the Bridges Program Coordinator is responsible for providing overall implementation of the program designed to address barriers to employment for out-of-school pregnant and parenting youth between the ages of 16-24 years. The Bridges Program Coordinator will coordinate and/or assist with the delivery of family and youth programing and will also be responsible for managing the program's grant activities including data collection, periodic reporting, and tracking of outcomes; maintaining documentation and processing requests for grant deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Social Work, Case Management, Public Health, Benefits Administration, or related field.
• Prior experience in youth development/engagement and/or serving underserved, multicultural and lingual populations.
• Basic fiscal management knowledge, including budgets.
• Basic evaluation and program performance measurement knowledge are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including daytime, evenings.

Salary Description

$50,000/annually
