Summary:

Conductfitness assessments and SMART start consultations to ensure member success andretention. Develops individualized wellness programs that ensure client safetyand the enhancement of personal fitness goals. Builds a connection with membersto help keep them actively engaged at the Y.

Requires:

1.) Physically being capable of assisting clients in their fitnessactivities, including bending, pulling, stretching, straining, kneeling,gripping and frequent lifting of weights. 

2.) Must be a certifiedPersonal trainer thru the American College of SportsMedicine, National Sports and Conditioning Association, the Aerobics andFitness Association of America or other nationally recognized certifying body or a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education orExercise Science. 

3.) Must have CPR and AED certification or obtain uponhire.

4.) Previous experience working with a diverse population preferred.
