The YMCA of the North’s, the George Wellbeing program offers integrative health services such as Health Coaching, Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine, Massage and Bodywork, Nutrition and Mindfulness offered both in-person and virtually.
As a Massage Therapist (Bodyworker) you will build your business up to fill your schedule. You would do this from networking and offering chair massages to build your client base. The massage sessions range in lengths from 30 to 90 minutes. The YMCA believes in providing so much more than a massage but customer excellence in a whole person focus. As a Massage Therapist at the YMCA equipment is provided along with a comfortable environment for stress relief to our members. This is a part-time massage therapy role about 20 hours per week.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Integrative Health and Wellbeing who reports to the Vice President of Integrative Health and Wellbeing. The incumbent interacts with members and responds to their needs and provides feedback in a professional manner. The incumbent is expected to treat members and staff with respect and responsibility.

Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
