Young Life is Hiring an Area Director I - Denver, CO Near Denver, CO

Description:

DMYL has been investing in the lives of kids for over 50 years in the Denver Public Schools system beginning at South High School in the 1970’s. Due to the rapid demographic change and the growing demand for YL in the broader metro area we expanded to three geographic areas that include South Central, West Denver and Greater Far Northeast which includes the North Aurora, Aurora Public School district.

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents where our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them – fun, adventure, friendship, and a sense of significance. We believe that every kid everywhere has the right to hear about the amazing person of Jesus Christ. In the Denver Metro area, we minister to adolescents from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds located in communities all over the city of Denver and North Aurora. We do this by staying true to our core values: Radical Faith, Radical Community, and Radical Ministry, through the lens of diversity, equity, and belonging.

Active Young Life ministry currently exists in Greater Northeast Denver while leaders are actively making contact with students through school clubs and are working to re-establish a regular club ministry.
