Acupuncturist needed to assume portion of existing client case load in an established practice, with training for systems and protocols in place. We need someone who wants to provide full-circle care for clients and employ our full scope of practice including herbs, supplements, targeted acupuncture techniques, dietary therapy, referral to outside professionals, and working with insurance auths and referrals, then this position is for you. Treating a full spectrum of health conditions from sports or traumatic injuries to complex medical diagnoses.

This is a contracted position in Lents neighborhood of SE Portland, OR, assuming 50% case load in addition to new patients to build your practice. Must be available minimum of 8-12 hours / week to start , up to 24 hours/week, can build to more.

Interested persons should possess the following:

- Current Oregon credentialing as in-network with at least 2 insurance carriers
- Professionalism in speech, appearance, behavior
- Great time management & communication skills
- Ability to implement treatment plans for patients: help them schedule and anticipate the plan, factoring in limitations of resources time, $, insurance coverage
- AccurateSOAP charting and understanding of insurance billing standards or willingness to pursue learning upon hiring
- Treat 4-8 patients a day on a precise schedule, autonomously
- Help with laundry and maintaining a clean work environment
- Comfort prescribing basic herbal medicine and supplements
- Openness to learning new techniques and protocols
- Creative problem solving: maintain calm and troubleshoot when issues arise
- Ability to represent the compassionate values and professionalism of the practice with integrity
- Interest in covering vacation times as able / sharing client load

Training provided to learn the excellent systems we have in place.

Compensation is a flat fee per treatment $75, (based on an average of 60% of collections per over the last 6 months) reassessed at 6 months for bonus scaffolding; a very competitive offering.

Must desire to work starting with at least 2 shifts, expectation of building to 3 full shifts or equivalent.

Training provided including observation of current provider for procedure & protocol training.
