Position Objective: The Production Floor Team Member is responsible for the preparation, processing and packaging of the food products. This role must be willing to change tasks or departments as production requires. The Production Floor Team Member must also ensure all GMP and Quality standards are met and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Check recipe folder for customer orders in daily productions making sure lot #s match priority list before product is produced; verifying that the product is produced in the correct order
• Match labels/tops with bars to make sure the correct client’s bars are being labeled/topped and finalized with production Supervisor sign off.
• Ability to Package product quickly with accuracy when it is released from machinery
• X-ray and weigh final product with production Supervisor and sign off verifying product meets the specifications
• Quarantine product that is not complete for next day’s production
• Correspond using Redzone for future production letting team know if product is too difficult to deal with and what steps are needed for a successful run.
• Complete the end of day reports to confirm customer orders were done accurately and accounted for before passing onto shipping department
• At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform closing duties, and complete all necessary reports
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School or GED minimum
• 1 or more years of food manufacturing experience
• Must be fast-paced and work with a sense of urgency
• Must have good communications & team-work skills.
• Must have good organization and time management skills.
• Must have an excellent record in the areas of safety, attendance, performance and discipline.
• Ability to weigh and measure both ingredients and finished product with accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Physical Functions:

• Standing: Up to 100% of time
• Lifting/bending: 4lbs to 57lbs frequently
• Sight: Able to operate high-speed equipment run and identify problems
• Good peripheral vision to catch problems in other areas of the line when they have trouble
• Processing of ingredients
• Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as required.
• Ability to work with shellfish, seafood, crustaceans, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, whey, sesame without incident.
