Yoshida Foods International is Hiring a Forklift Operator (FT) Swing Shift Near Portland, OR

About the Job:
Yoshida Foods International in Portland, Oregon is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to work on our swing shift!
In this role, you will support production by moving product ingredients from our warehouse to production staging areas and packaged products to the warehouse using a forklift. Yoshida Foods Int. is a 40-year-old company with a well-established reputation for producing high-quality sauces and carbonated beverages.
Pay starts at $18.00 per hour with a $1000 performance bonus payable in two $500 installments after successfully completing the 90-day introductory period and 180-day period.
The work schedule is Monday-Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM swing shift.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Transport raw materials for production to the cooking platform as needed.
Stack pallets of finished goods incorrect areas of the warehouse.
Keep warehouse area clean and organized at all times.
Perform duties required for master sanitation list.
Provide proper documentation for forklift usage.
Transport repack items to repack area.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
Understand and use pallet tag and card system.
Use the production schedule to plan for what ingredients to pull.
Wrap and band totes, drums, and cubes when necessary.

Qualifications:

Warehouse experience.
Forklift experience.

Job Conditions and Environment:

Work performed in warehouse. Subject to temperature variation, long hours standing on concrete, and occasion shift changing due to order demands or …(training/staffing changes).
