We are looking for a sharp Field Technician to join our team for a project opportunity. This position is part-time and offers compensation. This project is estimated to last for 6-10 weeks with a weekly estimate of 22-26 hours.

Position Summary:

The Field Technician will monitor odor, air quality, and/or noise. Regular travel to testing sites is expected in the role. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

This position will work under general supervision and guidance. No direct experience is required for college graduates/students.

The candidate qualifications we are looking for include:

· 0-3 years of work experience in the air quality industry in an engineering role; no experience required for recent college grads;

· Ability to be an active team member on project teams towards project completion within project scope, budget and schedule and ensure quality work product and deliverables;

· Support Sr. Engineers/Principal Engineers in project work;

· Maintain excellent customer service while keeping Yorke standard of quality;

· Highly motivated to work in the Air Quality or Environmental field and expand their knowledge and experience.

Experience:

· 0-3 years of work experience in the air quality industry in an engineering role; no experience required for recent college grads;

· Ability to handle highly technical data and technical data interpretation;

· Experience in project teamwork from implementation to completion;

· Highly motivated to continue working in the air quality environmental field and expand their knowledge and experience.

Job Requirements:

· Pursuing or completed an A.A. B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering/Scientific degrees;

· Excellent oral and written communication;

· Technical writing skills;

· Ability to use sampling/monitoring equipment;

· Ability to gain required equipment certification(s) for specific projects;

· Ability to understand and retain highly technical information.
