Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving process in our warehouse. This includes handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. Responsibilities: - Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the items received - Inspect packages for damages and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel - Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to company standards - Utilize warehouse management systems (AS400) to track inventory levels and update stock records - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load and unload shipments - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment - Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling shipments Qualifications: - Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred - Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and processes is a plus - Proficient in using warehouse management systems (AS400) and MRP software - Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills - Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunities for career advancement within the company If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply for the position of Shipper/Receiver.
