We’re looking to expand our team across the board. York is seeking candidates for our 2024 Co-Op Program. The ideal Product Admin Co-Op is a highly motivated, proactive individual who enjoys learning and is excited about working on space hardware and real missions. Each York Space Systems co-op has the opportunity to work on York missions. Each co-op is provided with a dedicated Product Manager as a mentor and is assigned a scope bound project that is challenging yet achievable during the duration of the program. Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses a genuine passion for space technology and a knack for detail-oriented work. Prior experience in product management or engineering would be beneficial but not mandatory. The ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential for this role. We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to development of a high-fidelity spacecraft
Interface with multiple engineering disciplines and project stakeholders
Contribute to product management, process improvement and tool development
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Manage part documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited university studying engineering
Must have completed at least Freshman year of the degree program
Strong communicator, great team player and overall hard worker
Self-starter and self-motivated with a hunger to learn
An interest in full time employment at York Space Systems
Demonstrated interest in spacecraft and space systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Willing and able to work in office (this is not a remote co-op)
