York Middle School is a dynamic, student-centered learning community, and we are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team for a middle level Spanish Teacher position. This 7th/8th Grade teacher will be responsible for teaching Spanish on a collaborative team with another Spanish teacher and a French teacher, in addition to limited exploratory classes with 6th grade students.. The ideal candidate will be good humored, with a passion for high quality world language teaching and learning. An ability to potentially teach French is preferred, dependent on student language interest.Careful considerations will be given to applicants who have experience in a student-centered, middle school environment.
Candidates with a proven track record of successful world language teaching in a middle school setting will be given priority. Candidates must desire to collaborate with colleagues and be committed to supporting the continued growth of a positive school culture at York Middle School.
