The York School Department has an anticipated opening for a full time School Psychologist. Services will include working with students, their families, and faculty members. Responsibilities include:Administering psychological evaluationsAssessing and identifying students to determine eligibility for special servicesReport interpretation and writingCollaborating with teachers, parents, and caregivers about issuesResearching and implementing intervention programsParticipating in referral/progress/IEP/evaluation meetingsParticipating on committees within the school district when neededOther duties deemed necessary by the school district as appropriate for the roleRequirements:Have a minimum of a Master's DegreeHold required certification to work as School Psychologist in MaineExperience providing psychological assessmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsCompassionate and committed to students’ well-being
