Yolo Federal Credit Union is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our Marketing team. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Community Relations Officer: manages activities to develop and support relationships with the community, business partners, and/or community groups; proactively engages in activities that support the Credit Union’s mission and align with the marketing strategy; and recommends and assists in developing and implementing new products, programs, and/or services. The Community Relations Officer supports coordinated programs to ensure the attainment of business for service, growth, and profitability.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need to be highly organized, demonstrate excellent written/verbal communication skills, and have a passion for business development. The incumbent must be willing to travel throughout the market area and work in an environment of flexible and changing work schedules and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and 3-5 years of previous experience in a related area required. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience working with financial products in a credit union or other financial institution is desirable.
Language Skills:
Must have strong presentation skills, present a professional image, and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate a strong ability to read, analyze, interpret, and prepare business reports, industry periodicals, and technical / regulatory correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, volunteers, business partners, and the public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of marketing principles in mathematical, statistical, or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
