Position Summary: Greet guests upon arrival, provide accurate wait times and escort customers to the dining and bar areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to the restaurant.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Manage reservations.
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
• Provide menus and announce Servers name.
• Greet customers upon their departure.
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Keep doors and windows free of marks.
• Open and close doors for guests.
• Ability to run food and beverages as needed.
• Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries.
• Assists wait staff as needed.

Base Pay and Compensation:

The Host/Hostess will receive an hourly wage range of $16.00 - $17.50 per hour, plus tips. This position is a part-time position and will require you to work weekends, days, afternoons, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Required Skills/ Abilities:

· Host/Hostess and/or server experience.

· Understanding of restaurant etiquette.

· Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

· Experience in managing reservations.

· Demonstrable customer-service skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.

· Knowledge of menus
