The Technical Service department oversees product performance in the field and utilizes that knowledge to provide engineering support to customers, the sales department, tire design engineers, and manufacturing. 50% of a field engineer’s time is spent time visiting customer locations within the US to understand how Yokohama products are being utilized and how they are performing. The other 50% of their time is planning field evaluations, analyzing claim and test data, reporting, and providing technical support to internal and external customers. Field engineers function independently with high level guidance from management. The candidate filling the open position will focus on commercial tires.
