Job Description: Yoga Instructor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified Yoga Instructor to join our team. As a Yoga Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for yoga and guide students in their practice. If you have a certification in yoga instruction, practical teaching experience, and a genuine love for helping others, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead yoga classes for students of all levels, including beginners and those seeking a more challenging practice.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for students to explore and deepen their yoga practice.
- Provide clear and concise instructions, modifications, and adjustments to ensure proper alignment and safety.
- Adapt teaching style and class structure to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to reach their full potential.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of yoga principles, postures, alignment, and sequencing.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a respectful demeanor towards students and staff.
- Checking in Students as they arrive, processing sales of instudio purchases.
-Maintaining cleanliness of studio space.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a yoga instructor from a recognized yoga teacher training program.
- Practical teaching experience, preferably in warm and hot classroom settings.
- Knowledge and expertise in yoga principles, postures, alignment, and sequencing.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and create a supportive environment.
- Adaptability to adjust classes for different levels and address individual student concerns.
- Passion for yoga and a positive attitude towards teaching.
- Professional conduct, punctuality, and the ability to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.
