As the Senior Director of Product Management & Delivery, you’ll spearhead the strategy and implementation of our product/platform. Collaborating closely with business partners, customers, and the engineering team, you’ll shape the vision for our Cloud-based back-office services platform, overseeing the entire product life cycle from inception to deployment. Leading and mentoring a team of business analysts, program & project managers, your role will be pivotal in aligning various teams to execute product strategies and drive transformative growth. Experience in a healthcare setting and medical accounting/billing is highly preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of a comprehensive product/platform vision and long-term roadmap for a healthcare accounting SaaS platform in collaboration with the Engineering and Business teams.
This role oversees a team including Business Analyst(s), Product Manager(s), Program Manager(s), and Project Manager(s).
Collaborate with Engineering to conduct ROI analysis, driving further investment in the SaaS platform to reduce operational costs while enhancing application performance, security, and user experience.
Stay abreast of industry competition and trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Act as a vital member of the Product Management leadership team, contributing insights to the overall product roadmap.
Lead cross-functional alignment among product, sales, engineering, compliance, legal, partnerships, and finance, guiding planning and execution across the entire product life cycle.
Serve as the primary liaison for other departments, providing updates on project status or relevant project information related to the product.
Collaborate with internal groups to ensure necessary features and modifications are incorporated in appropriate releases to support cross-product functionalities.
Work closely with Product Engineering to enhance products, quality, and operational processes.
Develop workforce plans, including staffing strategies that attract and retain top-tier talent.
Partner with Senior Leadership and peers to establish organizational strategy and execution plans.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
A BS/MS Degree or equivalent experience
7 years of relevant product management and team leadership experience, preferably in SaaS technology products and services
5 years of experience in Agile methodologies and continuous delivery models for SaaS product offerings, demonstrating proven methodologies and best practices
Experience with the following is highly preferable but not required:
Medical billing, medical accounting and healthcare billing
Cash flow
Medicare and Medicaid; private insurance; private pay
SaaS
LTCF/SNF Long term care facilities and Skilled Nursing Facilities
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Government reporting requirements for healthcare institutions
Cash flow
Financial reporting
Experience in engaging and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders, driving progress, recognition, and change
Proficiency in Project Management and workflow management software
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
A well-rounded technical and business knowledge, coupled with excellent planning and interpersonal abilities
Capability to collaborate effectively with remote and international teams
Occasional travel to client sites and sales calls may be required.
