This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Associate Executive Director oversees staff development, innovation, risk management, customer service delivery and achieving budget targets. This position is accountable for the successful administration of the YMCA Program departments including Day Camp, Youth & Family/STEAM, Kidzone, Aquatics, Preschool, Gymnastics, Dance, Cheer, Ninja, and Sports development. The Associate Executive Director is a key member of branch leadership guided by the Branch Executive, YMCA operating principles, Association Leadership Norms and must operate in a manner consistent with our organizational values.
Develops, maintains, and models collaborative relationships with community agencies in support of the Y brand.

Anticipates challenges that can sidetrack or derail growth and personal learning. Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well; uses best practices and demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology.
