The Child Learning Center, located on the northside of Appleton, is hiring a Day Care Coordinator. As the early childhood day care coordinator, you'll serve as a mentor, leader and help support the daily operations of the YMCA of the Fox Cities off-site day care center.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Excellent knowledge of state licensing and YoungStar regulations.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct staff and volunteers as needed.
- Assist with staff evaluations and performance-based reviews, along with developing strategies to motivate staff to achieve goals.
- Maintain staff-to-children room ratios.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with YMCA members, program participants and community organizations.
- Monitor the CLC’s early childhood program budget to meet fiscal objectives.
