POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction and guidance of the Child Care Coordinator, the Site Director
will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of a day camp site,
and for direct supervision of the camp counselors at that site. They are responsible
for the supervision of a group of children between the ages of 4 and 12. Site
Directors are responsible for implementing the daily schedule and managing the
camp counselors' work schedules. They will also be responsible for making
necessary program changes in the event of inclement weather conditions or
cancellations. The Site Director should help foster an environment of enthusiasm
and excitement with both the children and the staff.
