School Age Associate Program Director
The YMCA is seeking a School Age Associate Program Director. This position requires someone who has energy, a positive mind set and strong leadership skills to supervise, teach, nurture and encourage our staff and kiddos with a balance of empathy, accountability, role modeling and hands-on work.

Year-round, full-time Monday-Friday hours vary from 6:15am-6pm position continues through summer as full-time day camp site director.
 
Salary range is $20-25/hour based on experience and availability. This position is year-round, full-time Monday-Friday, and hours vary during the school year from 6:15am-6pm. Positions continue 40 hours a week through summer, at one of our 15 Day Camp Locations. We will work with you to determine the best fit for summer camp.

Responsibilities:
Duties:
Works with Program Directors to manage, direct and coordinate program areas, ensure high quality programs and establish new program activities.
Is the on call director each morning at 5:30am.
Floats to all programs in Loveland, Johnstown, and Berthoud in the afternoons.
Trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
Assures compliance with state and local regulations as they relate to program areas. Ensures that YMCA program standards are met, and safety procedures followed.
Informs Program Director of needed upkeep of assigned program facilities and equipment and ensures the physical environment supports safety practices aligning with YMCA, Health Department and CDHS standards.
Develops and maintains relationships with school administration. Checks in weekly with office staff to communicate any updates or concerns.
With support of Program Director, provides staff leadership for annual fund-raising campaign. Represents the YMCA and participates in association special events.
Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements to apply for this Director Level State Licensed position:
21 years or older.
Supply documentation of current certification or become certified in CPR and First Aid. We can assist with this.
AND have at least one of the followingA four-year degree in a related field OR
48 semester hours of college credit AND 910 hours of experience in a licensed program since turning 18 OR
5,640 hours of experience working directly with school-age children with a group of 4 or more unrelated school age children.

Full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 3 weeks of paid vacation, 88 hours of paid sick time, and 8 paid holidays per year. Free YMCA programs include: after-school programs, Camp NOCO traditional day camp, youth sports, learn to skate, and swim lessons. We provide long-term disability and life insurance at no cost to full-time employees.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
