Junior Lifeguard
All branches of the YMCA of Northern Colorado are seeking summer seasonal junior lifeguards. Our YMCAs offer memberships, fitness programs, youth sports, aquatics programs, social opportunities, and early childhood education for the Northern Front Range.

Salary range is $14.42/hour based on experience. In addition, we offer a 10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Junior Lifeguards are a valued part of our safety team serving as second responder and working in conjunction with more senior guards. On the pool deck, you are an advocate for the safety and wellbeing of our members and guests, and keep our Y's pool a friendly, welcoming environment for all to play, learn and build confidence in the water. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety of participants while they are in or near the pool or hot tub, general maintenance and cleanliness of the pool, water testing and general problem-solving. You'll need to relate positively to a variety of people including other staff, members, program participants, and children.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10 hours receive a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund.
Part-Time employees also receive paid sick time of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
