We are hiring a full time Leadership Position working as a Program Director for our Childcare Division (Afterschool/Day Camp) of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. In this position, you will build relationships with school administration, parents, a team of part-time staff who lead daily activities with children, keep kids safe, and contributing to a high-quality Afterschool programming.

A Program Director leads a team of part time staff who manages the daily operations of between 5 to 10 afterschool program sites (depending on position/territory) and up to 3-day camp programs, ensuring that all sites meet licensing requirements, and deliver great customer service to School Hosts, Families, branch connections, and community at large. A Childcare Program Director will be a Leader and Role model to their team in the values aligned with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas: Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Caring. Directors ensure that all staff are properly onboarded, trained, and given the right resources to deliver a top-notch childcare program promoting a healthy body, mind, and spirit for our children. He/She will manage the financial responsibilities associated with Afterschool and Day Camp programs, will help actively recruit staff and promote programs and will be passionate about the cause and mission of the Y.

The Program Director will be responsible for a specific territory, having a “home office” in their corresponding territory, and is expected to be visible to their Part Time Teams in YMCA programs under their leadership. The specific Program Director will office in Coppell, Texas and our territory will plan for growth for Fall 2024/25 sites. Mileage is reimbursed, when traveling to sites other than the home office and if the travel is further than normal mileage to home office.
