At the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, we strengthen the foundations of our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Since 1920, we have been effectively meeting the holistic needs of St. Petersburgs residents through programs developed in direct response to the ever-changing needs and realities of our community. Over the past nine decades, our Y has developed a highly-effective, self-reflective planning model that ensure all pr...oposed programs align with our mission, organizational capacity and the needs of our community. At the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg we are strengthening the foundation of our community with four YMCAs, 25 before and afterschool locations, and numerous programming locations throughout mid and southern Pinellas County. At our Y, no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. In addition to the countless programs and opportunities made free to the public, the YMCA of Greater St. Peterburg provides scholarship support to ensure equitable access for all so that all families have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
