Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a detail-orientated Payroll Specialist. This position will report to the Payroll Integration Manager. The Payroll Specialist will process weekly payroll and maintain employee time records.This position will also ensure the accuracy of employee data in the HRIS system and run reports as requested.

This position would be ideal for someone whoexcels while working under pressure and enjoys data entry with a flair for customer service in a human resource growing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for entering, maintaining, and/or processing information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
• Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
• Reconciles payroll to ensure weekly reports match transactions that were processed.
• Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
• Assists with new hires and separations.
• Responsible for running reports as requested for worker’s compensation, benefits, 401k, work hours, and wages.

Job Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred
• Two years of experience in accounting or payroll related field required
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel
• Excel at working well while under pressure

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $59, 000 - $62,000. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education, which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
