YMCA Camp Thunderbird is seeking part time swim instructors to lead swim lessons to our summer camp program participants! This is a part time, seasonal position (summer) which starts at $14.00 per hour. Looking for candidates who can work over the summer months up to 40 hours per week!

DUTIES of a Swim Lesson Instructor

Swim instructors should be enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for swim instructors who have flexible availability and who can work with a variety of ages. Using a variety of tools and teaching techniques, swim instructors will work with participants teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and the YMCA core values.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Swim Lesson Instructor

Swim instructors must have current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications are preferred but not necessary.
