JOB LOCATION : Brookview Elementary School (off site from the Waukee YMCA) HOURS / DAYS SCHEDULE : Must be available from 6 : 30-8 : 45-3 : 15-6 : 00pm Mon-Friday during the school year and some hours in between, and 6 : 30-6 (8 hour shifts) Mon-Fri during the summer.

PAY RANGE : $16.50 / hour - $20.00 / hour CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS : May 22nd, 2024 - Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

It is responsible for the oversight of the program and, in partnership with the collaborating school, will facilitate the integration of program into the overall school culture.

This position is responsible for delivering a program that promotes children feeling valued as individuals and helps them achieve, build relationships and belong.

The position is charged with creating an environment of advocacy, collaboration, and partnership between stakeholders and the Y movement with site based relationships which include;

youth, parents, administrators, and teachers. This position supervises staff and volunteers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Manage assigned program areas and activities, ensuring programs comply with all applicable YMCA standards and methods of operation and continually strive to attain the highest possible level of quality.

Evaluate and review all aspects of assigned programs to ensure consistent quality and safety. Directly facilitate and manage delivery of programming at least 20 hours per week.

Assist in the development and distribution of materials to market and promote programs, ensuring all communications meet YMCA the standards and requirements.

Prepare and submit required budget management information for program area(s). Monitor assigned budget to ensure revenue and expenses are consistent with approved budget plan.

Determine staffing needs of assigned program area(s) within YMCA guidelines and procedures. Build, lead, develop and train a staff team that genuinely cares about the needs of our community and our members and works to exceed expectations every day.

Manage and maintain staffing to cover all areas of assigned program(s). Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with school personnel.

Serve as a YMCA representative, both within the organization and outside the organization. Assist in organizations financial development efforts, including the annual fund raising campaign.

Plan, prepare and organize special events as required. Perform other duties as required. Demonstrate and support the objectives of the organization as embodied in the mission statement and values.
