All this with the freedom to create adventures and have a lifelong impact!This is a Full Time position.Responsibilities:Overall effective program management while ensuring adequate coverage and ratios.Encourage children to explore, create, and make confident decisions.Support each child's social and emotional development.Establish positive and effective caregiver relationships.Maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment.Plan, create and implement lesson plans and activities.Maintain site records and submit regular reports.Support the Site Director in ensuring state licensure compliance requirements.Education:Minimum High School diploma or GED required. Associates Degree in a related field, or currently pursuing an Associate's Degree is a plus.Level 3 CPL required, CDA preferred.Certification in at the level of Basic Life Support or Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration and associated- determined safety training required within 30 days of Experience:Minimum age 18 years old.Minimum 2 years' experience working with children in a licensed child care center, preschool, or school age environment, ideally with diverse populations.Experience in licensed childcare programs preferred.Minimum 1 years' experience with all ODJFS licensing procedures and Step Up to Quality requirements Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
