PositionSummary:

Supervises the KidZone. Responsiblefor the welfare, safety and satisfaction of members and participants in the KidZone.

 EssentialFunctions:

1.Acts on behalf of Director in his/her absence, with regards to general memberand/or staffconcerns.

2.Supervises the KidZone which includes recruiting, orientation, training, coaching, recognizing, and evaluating childcarestaff.

3.Monitors parent/childfeedback.

4.Ensures that KidZone has adequate staff at all times, securing substituteswhen necessary.

5.Meets with staff on a regularbasis.

6.Develops and implements structured plan for KidZone.

7.Handles team staff concerns as they occur and communicate them tosupervisor.

8.Maintains health and safety standards of the KidZone.

9.Provides superior customer service to members and their children by assistingwith problem solving and conflictsituations.

10.Assists in the coordination of special staff, member and volunteerevents.

11.Participates in branch management functions andplanning.

12.Attends all required staff meetings and trainings. Assists supervisor withfacilitating staffmeetings.

13.Knows and understands branch and association policies andprocedures.

14.Ensures proper set-up and break-down of area on a dailybasis.

15.Communicates appropriately with other staff members in a positivemanner.

16.Assists with volunteer training and modelingprocedures.
