Toddler Teacher Salary : $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Toddler Teacher Hours : Monday-Friday - flexible morning or afternoons

Toddler Teacher Responsibilities :

• Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
• Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
• Building strong relationships with the parents
• Provide an enjoyable experience that allows members and participants to feel comfortable in the classroom and at the Y by offering excellent service
• Assist the head teacher in observation techniques to record information about children for use in planning curriculum
• Interacting with children, team player, knowledge of developmental appropriate practices for a two year old.

Toddler Teacher Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddler aged children in a child care setting.
• Have a CDA or working towards a CDA (Child Development Associate Credential)
• Are a high school graduate
• Are at least 18 years of age
• Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
