What would you be doing?
- Provide safe environment for learning
- Implement Curriculum for the youth legislature model
- Establish good rapport with parents and participants
- Being a positive role model for youth in the program
- Collaborate with volunteers to lead delegation
- Transport equipment to and from camp sites
- Reliably attend classes afterschool Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5:30 and facilitate the district event in May.
Requirements
- Knowledge of legislative process
- Experience working with kids in a paid or volunteer setting
- Ability to follow and facilitate curriculum
- Must pass YMCA background check
- Possess (or obtain during training) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
