Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily activities and lesson plans
- Provide support to students with special needs, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods
- Collaborate with the lead teacher in assessing student progress and behavior
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Support students in developing social skills and positive peer interactions
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood education settings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of curriculum development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Experience working with children, including those with special needs
- Basic math skills for assisting students with math concepts
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Understanding of child development principles and milestones
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a classroom setting
