Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery Operations:
• Safely transport refrigerator / frozen food products to various destinations, including restaurants, and other wholesale customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to clients.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Product Handling:
• Handle food products with care to maintain quality during transportation.
• Follow proper handling procedures to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, receipts, and delivery logs.
• Collect payments from customers if required.
• Customer Interaction:
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner.
• Adherence to Regulations:
• Comply with traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines for the handling and transportation of food.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License:
• Possess a valid and clean driver's license.
• Experience:
• Previous 1 year experience as a delivery driver is preferred, especially in the food industry.
• Physical Fitness:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Stamina to handle a physically demanding job.
• Communication Skills:
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
• Reliability:
• Dependable and punctual, ensuring timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• Background Check:
• Successfully pass a background check, particularly if handling high-value or sensitive products.
• Knowledge of Routes:
• Familiarity with local routes and geographical areas to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Safety Training:
• Complete any required safety training related to the handling and transportation of food.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
