What you will be doing .

  • Assists the Director of IT in selection of system configurations and with decisions regarding systems and IT projects.
  • Maintains inventory of all assets connected to the network infrastructure.
  • Sets up user permissions on file server, ensures file security and compliances are met.
  • Administers, develops, tests, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoots and resolve software, operating system, and network problems.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors systems backups, performs data recoveries as necessary.
  • Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades.
  • Maintains building access through system program.
  • Sets up employee identification badges.
  • Performs basic and advanced troubleshooting functions with end users to resolve issues at first contact.
  • Analyzes and diagnoses problems to quickly arrive at workable resolutions.
  • Escalates unresolved issues in accordance with the internal IT SLA and owns case to resolution.

What you need to bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or related experience.
  • 5 years of IT or customer service experience.
  • Azure and Active Directory
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Windows OS and MS Office suites.
  • Experience with server administration, cloud, and SaaS models management.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends and perform after-hours support as required to meet business needs.
  • MCP, CompTIA A , CompTIA N .
  • Familiar with IT Standards (ITIL)and best practices.
  • Experience with SQL databases and reports.
  • Experience with firewalls, switches, and routers.
