Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch is Hiring a Lead LAC Near Billings, MT

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide clinical oversight and supervision to YBGR Licensed Addition Counselor Candidates assisting those individuals acquire the clinical skills and knowledge necessary to become a Licensed Addiction Counselor.

This is a part-time position working 5-10 per week with flexible schedule.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides clinical supervision to all LAC 1 (Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidates) as outlined in the supervisor duties below.

  • Provide clinical supervision towards licensure for all ACLC staff.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities towards licensure in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Provides clinical consultation to Chemical Dependency (CD) team, including treatment planning, diagnosis, etc.
  • Schedule and conduct regular supervision meetings with ACLC staff.
  • Demonstrates effective management of a team toward achievement of goals, including appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision towards licensure for all ACLC staff.
  • Provides clinical consultation to the CD team as needed, including holding a monthly team meeting.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Collaborates with the CD team Administrative Supervisor and Regional Clinical Manager.
  • Schedule and conduct regular supervision meetings with ACLC staff.
  • Demonstrates effective management of a team toward achievement of goals, including appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • 21 years old or older
  • Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance:Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Counseling, or related field.

Current Montana license as Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in good standing and three (3) years post licensure as an LAC or completion of Clinical Supervisor Training Course
