What we are looking for?

As a member of our development team, the .NET Developer - Mid-level will design and develop high volume, low latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability.
You will support web-based application development and maintenance, and contribute to and grow our software engineering competency.

  • The .NET Developer must have experience in web application development.
  • The .NET Developer provides input and support for and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing,
    implementation, etc.) of application software.
  • This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.
  • This position provides knowledge and support for application development, and integration and maintenance.
  • The selected candidate must have excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills, be able to meet deadlines, as well as interact effectively with clients and
    other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a scrum team, actively participating in sprint ceremonies.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs.
  • Maintain and support internally developed technical solutions.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines,
    driving quality mindset.
  • Monitor performance and points of improvement in currently deployed/running applications.

Qualifications and education requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • BS 2-3 years of experience, or MS and 1 year of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework (4.6 and above) and C# development using Microsoft Guidelines like Enterprise Library.
  • Experience with Webforms and ASP.NET MVC web development.
  • Experience in designing and implementing web services using Windows Communication Foundation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Experience with ADO.NET and stored procedures.
  • Experience with Internet Information Services 8 .
  • Experience using third-party tools such as Log4Net, AES lib, FTP.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented principles and nTier architectures.
  • Experience converting business requirements into technical design documents.
  • Ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Agile (scrum) based delivery practices, test-driven development, test automation, and continuous delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in building design patterns and software engineering best practices.
  • Understanding of git-flow workflow.
  • English: Intermediate (B1 or B2)
  • Spanish: Native.
