OBJECTIVE
This position will assist in several areas of the manufacturing process including filling, bottling, capping, and package assembly. You will work on different levels and multiple areas of the production line while maintaining standards of consistency, quality, and accuracy to produce an end product ready for retail shelves for our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staging bottles for production runs throughout different stages of filling, capping, labeling, and boxing
- Assembling and staging retail cartons in preparation for bottles, including running through a lot coding machine
- Applying caps to bottles and containers, utilizing torque or other equipment to ensure solid application and seal
- Monitoring production run of label application on bottles or other packaging through equipment
- Assist with filling empty packaging with liquid materials
- Perform quality checks on finished products before final boxing
- Setting up and take down of equipment in different areas of production runs
- Assist with monitoring that equipment is running properly and kept clean
- Perform the setup, take down, and mobile movement of workstations
- Keep production areas organized and clean, including sanitizing
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand and follow QA/QC compliance procedures, protocol and GMP practices
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and operations is helpful
- Ability to work independently and as a committed team member at times
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day
- Able to lift/move 50lb safely
- Have experience following health and safety standards in a warehouse environment
