What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our YII Venture Scoutingteam in Plano, TX.The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:

The Program Coordinator will support the Sr. Program Manager in collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met as defined in the project development plan. Responsibilities will include documenting identified industry / social “pain points” (need), the quantified size of the need, and assisting with the creation of a business solution that would address the need and identifying the technical capability that Yazaki can leverage.

What you will bring to the table:

• Manage projects starting with identification of internal/external pain points (need) through the completion of proof of concept trial of new technology to resolve stated pain points.
  • Track multiple projects simultaneously using a project management tool to ensure milestones and project timing is met.
  • Take meeting minutes for meetings and distribute to the team.
  • Follow up on action items to ensure closure according to project timeline.
  • Create project timeline to support project goals.
  • Communicate project deliverables to project team.
• Collect and analyze data for market analysis, financial estimates, competitive intelligence, etc. This data collection and analysis is in support of the proof of concept activity and confirming a viable business case for the project.
• Help define the overall processes that need to be followed for evaluating viable start-up opportunities for application within Yazaki or other partner relationship.
• Create or support in creating presentations for review with executive management on the status of projects. This may involve presenting to executive management.
