The Drives Product Specialist is responsible for assisting Product Managers through the product lifecycle: research, development, and launch through obsolescence. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, possess the ability to learn a diverse skill set on the job, and communicate clearly. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team consisting of project management, marketing, sales, engineering, strategic sourcing, and manufacturing.

Description of Duties:

• Develop pricing and profitability analysis and strategies
• Assist with the creation of business plans
• Assist with the creation of technical marketing documents and videos
• Planning and assisting with new product launches
• Create, schedule, and present sales training material
• Identify new product opportunities to increase revenues and/or decrease costs
• Answer product related questions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing or equivalent related work experience.
• Superb oral and written communication skills
• Ability to memorize product details and understand their value
• Deadline driven
• Domestic travel less than 10%
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
