Lead lower level engineers in areas related to Products/QC engineering.Conduct all necessary tasks required to the products and its testing for new products introductionIncluding: component specification, quality control test parameters and liaison activities with YECdesign engineers. Create and adhere plan/schedule for projects involving individual themes.Evaluate the current equipment used by production, test when necessary, suggestImprovements and/or introduce new equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.Perform activities related to the design, build, and implementation and troubleshooting of productiontest equipment. Define, establish, and implement procedures related to processes in the engineering function and/orproduction function. Prepare information for the development of division’s operating and capital expense budget, bothshort-term and long-term needs, and continually monitoring same.Support and assist OPS Engineering activities as they relate to electrical systems or electricaldesigns. Support and assist Repair Department activities as they relate to technical documents and testequipment designs including product training.Investigate with purchasing, and evaluate domestic procured parts and make recommendations,when necessary to the supplier, which will enable usage of their parts.Perform activities related to maintenance or establishment of electrical drawings and schematics including documentation control.Provide support for customer problems by trouble-shooting and technical support for in-process manufacturing problemsParticipate in company-sponsored activities, including suggestion program, quality training, etc.
