Position Overview:

Hardscape crew members are the backbone of any successful landscaping company that specializes in hardscaping projects. They work alongside hardscape laborers and leaders to transform outdoor spaces with patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and other permanent features.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with various tasks as directed by the hardscape leader, such as:

• Preparing the job site by removing existing structures, vegetation, and debris.
• Digging trenches and holes for foundations, drainage systems, and other elements.
• Mixing and pouring concrete for patios, walkways, and other surfaces.
• Installing pavers, bricks, stones, and other hardscape materials.
• Building retaining walls, steps, and other structures.
• Planting trees, shrubs, and other vegetation around hardscape features.
• Cleaning up the job site and disposing of waste materials.
• Operating equipment, such as bobcats, excavators etc
• Utilizing adequate PPE per company safety standard

Minimum Qualifications:

• No prior experience necessary, but willingness to learn and work hard is essential.
• Physical fitness and stamina required for lifting heavy materials and working in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
