Yamhill County is Hiring a Mental Health Therapist (EASA) Near McMinnville, OR


Yamhill County has one full-time position for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to work as part of a transdisciplinary Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA) team. The person in this position provides community-based behavioral health services for individuals ages 14-25 years old who are experiencing at risk symptoms of psychosis or first episode psychosis and their families as part of an early intervention program. The position affords a unique opportunity for a small caseload size (average 8-10) and a diverse array of job duties, including but not limited to, eligibility screening, mental health assessment and service planning, direct individual and group treatment services, and community outreach and education. Additional training, ongoing consultation, and technical assistance is provided by the EASA Center of Excellence. This position may be filled as either an Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician or a Behavioral Health Clinician, depending on experience and credentialing.

Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician Salary: $6078 - $7702/month (DOE)
Behavioral Health Clinician Salary: $5583 - $7136/month (DOE)

The Qualifications:
The position requires a master's degree from an accredited school in social work, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field and:
 
Behavioral Health Clinician: 
  • One year of experience as a Human Services Specialist I. 
  • Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures ability to perform the work may substitute for the above. 
  • Must qualify as QMHP or CADC, to work in respective fields. 
  • May require licensing.
Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician: 
  • Three (3) years’ post-master’s experience. 
  • Active professional license in the state of Oregon as a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP). 
    • Or be a non-licensed QMHP with dual credentialing as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II, or III).
Preference will be given to those applicants with training and experience in evidence-based practices and experience providing intensive mental health and addictions services in a community-based setting.
 
The successful candidate must have an NPI number or the ability to obtain one upon employment. Will be subject to successful completion of a background check.
