JOB FUNCTION: Executes Yamato Corporation marketing plan to accelerate brand growth and enhance visibility in the market. Uses creative and analytical skills to shape the Yamato brand narrative. Supports director of marketing with other marketing-related tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Marketing Plan & Budget: Along with director of marketing, executes annual marketing plan that aligns with company objectives outlined in business plan, and follows approved budget.
2. Brand Management: Ensures consistency across all marketing channels and communication materials following brand standards owned and outlined by the director of marketing.
3. Content Development: Creates all new marketing collateral including literature, videos, articles, press releases, etc., partnering with external agencies as required.
4. New Product Commercialization: Responsible for all activities for Yamato Corporation’s new product launches.
5. SEM & Website Management: Leads search engine marketing efforts and manages all website content updates for Yamato Corporation’s WordPress website.
6. Advertising Plan: Develops annual advertising plan (digital & print) and manages all related activities and deadlines.
7. Email Marketing: Oversees the development of regular email campaigns using Epicor eMarketing. Writes relevant content, creates campaigns, and evaluates and tracks performance, as needed.
8. Social Media: Manages Yamato Corporation’s LinkedIn company page, YouTube channel, and X account. Outlines high-level strategy, messaging, and related activities for all company social media platforms. Supports marketing coordinator’s responsibilities as needed.
9. Trade Show Support: Outlines high-level strategy, messaging, and related activities for all company trade shows. Supports marketing coordinator with trade show planning as needed.
10. Completes other projects as assigned by leadership.
11. Maintains relationships with external agencies and marketing partners.
12. Maintains understanding of industry trends and competitors’ activities.
13. Participates in quarterly sales meetings.
14. Attends USA and international trade shows as directed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Domestic and possible international travel requirements up to 35%. Some weekend travel required.

Requirements
1. B.S. or equivalent in marketing, minimum; MBA preferred.
2. Over seven years of experience in marketing; at least two years of experience managing people.
3. General understanding of business-to-business marketing best practices.
4. Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
5. Organized with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple projects while balancing tasks that come with strict deadlines.
6. Entrepreneurial, creative mindset.
7. Excellent internal and external communication skills, computer skills, and presentation skills.
8. Strong work ethic; dependable and trustworthy.
9. Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
10. Understanding of Epicor and Salesforce a plus.
11. Requires a valid driver’s license and must be insurable.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 20 pounds.
