Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Greenwich Hospital is seeking to employ a full-time clinical social worker with specialty in the treatment of a spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses in adolescents. The clinical social worker will provide evidence-based and solution-focused treatments to patients in the context of routine outpatient and/or intensive outpatient programming, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists and other providers in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities:
  • 1.Conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients
  • 2.Provision of individual, group, and family behavioral health interventions
  • 3.Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care
  • 4.Collection of outcome data related to clinical care
  • 5.Engagement in community outreach
  • 6.Participation in departmental meetings and activities
  • 7.Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities
  • 8.Maintaining charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures
Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.

EXPERIENCE:

Individuals with experience treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions with adolescents and working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical setting; training in cognitive-behavioral interventions; who embrace a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating behavior and mental health; and are committed to program development are encouraged to apply.

LICENSURE:

All candidates must have a license (LCSW) to practice as a clinical social worker.

  • Flexibility with schedule and work-place settings
  • Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Demonstrated cultural competency working with diverse cultures and communities
