Description of Position:

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to take on the combined role of Project Manager (PM) and Estimator. This role is crucial for leading the customer experience from initial quotation to final billing, and accurately estimating costs related to materials and transportation for crane mat sales and support.


Responsibilities

In addition to working closely with Inventory, Finance, Operations, and Field Personnel, the Estimator / Project Managers responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Design and estimate cost-effective solutions for various projects, focusing on materials and logistics.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to optimize project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, manage logistics, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Perform detailed cost analysis and manage procurement and quality control of materials.


Position Requirements

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of all Project Management Principles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Project is required
  • Familiarity with B2W software is a plus
  • Knowledge of Lean construction methodologies and principles is critical
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and safety hazards of construction projects
  • Skill in organizing and coordinating large construction projects
  • Skill in monitoring the work of contractors
  • Must be very well organized and methodical
  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is desirable with Five (5) years’ experience in Estimating / Project Management
