YAI has immediate openings for Counselors at our START/CSIDD Resource Center in Jamaica NY! Join our dynamic multidisciplinary team providing positive and holistic therapeutic interventions for people with both developmental disabilities and mental health/complex behavioral needs.

*The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as compassion, creativity, optimism, and an endless desire to learn.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, highly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License
• Work or life experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (Preferred)
• Ability to participate in 5 weekdays of paid NYS Mandated OPWDD initial trainings during normal business hours upon hire.
• Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions (provided FREE of charge by our Premier HealthCare clinic)
