Yachiyo Manufacturing of America is Hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Near Carrollton, GA

We are an established Tier One Automotive Supplier that has been in business for over 70 years. We are a leading producer of sunroofs and fuel tanks with a worldwide reach but a smaller local feel in our Carrollton, GA facility.

Job Details/Duties

As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for technical troubleshooting, inspection, repairs and maintenance on robotic equipment, hydraulic press equipment, blow molding equipment, as well as facility equipment such as air compressors, cooling towers, air conditioners, and plumbing. You will respond to daily trouble requests to support production and complete planned maintenance. Position functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting equipment
  • Equipment operational checks
  • Cutter and cable checks
  • Trouble reports/Work order completion
  • Repair production and facility equipment
  • Jig adjustments
  • Utility monitoring and adjustments: Cooling tower, Air compressors, HVAC units
  • Scheduled weekly maintenance activities
  • Filter changes and YTPM duties as assigned
  • Fabrication projects as assigned
  • Weekly equipment checks
  • Kaizen projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Must have direct experience of working as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited College or Technical Program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • English language ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Operation of Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, and various air and power tools are necessary to be considered for this position.
  • Industrial Electrician and ability to read wiring diagrams
  • Pipe Fitting/Hydraulic
  • Blow Mold concepts/plastic injection
  • Welding experience
  • Rigging experience
  • Physical requirements include ability to walk and stand on feet for extended periods of time, and ability to perform light to moderate lifting as needed
